Parking Info

  • There are 8 parking lots and 9 parking garages with spaces for more than 10,000 vehicles in downtown Akron.
  • There are more than 1,100 metered parking spaces throughout downtown Akron. Pay at the meters Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. with credit card, coins, or payment through the Flowbird app. Paper cash is not accepted. Meter parking is $1/hour with a two-hour limit.
  • Many surface parking lots in downtown Akron offer all day parking for as little as $2 a day.
  • City-owned decks include (D1) Broadway Deck, (D2) Cascade Deck, (D3) CitiCenter Deck, (D4) High/Market Deck, (D6) State St. (O’Neil’s) Deck, (D7) Opportunity Park Deck and (D8) Akron Centre Deck.
