Discovering Our History Forum Series

Join us for our last “Discovering Our History” forum series as we celebrate Akron’s Bicentennial. This forum will take place at Temple Israel Akron and feature a discussion of Akron’s Jewish History moderated by Mike Butlien, chair of Temple’s 160th Anniversary History Committee.

Panelists will include:

• Lois Reaven, a continuous Temple Member for over 90 years, and the unofficial Temple Historian
• Art Krakauer, former President of the congregation who remains active in interfaith relations and social action
• Joelle Zellman – another life long Temple member since the 1990’s who has been heavily involved with both Akron 200 & Temple’s 160th History Committee
