To kick off National Recovery Month, Akron Municipal Court Judge Jon Oldham will welcome Olympic Gold Medalist Oksana Baiul who will share how she overcame alcoholism. Her story is one of resiliency and triumph.
The event will take place in the Akron Art Museum Auditorium.
A guided tour of the Akron Art Museum will be available following the presentation.
Additional Details:
Free parking will be available in designated areas. Attendees will receive parking instructions and building entry directions prior to Thursday, September 4.
Two American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters will be present.

Kristi Capel of Fox 8 News in the Morning will lead a moderated question and answer session.
About Oksana Baiul:
Oksana Baiul, a Ukraine native, is the 1993 World Champion and the 1994 Olympic Champion in ladies’ singles figure skating. She is now retired from competitive figure skating and resides in Louisiana.
