Join us on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 7 pm at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall for the Akron Bicentennial musical event of the year! “A Concert For Akron, By Akron“ will feature all Akron performers and/or composers in a culminating celebration of our City’s musical heritage and talent.
Featuring Akron’s premier musical ensemble, the Akron Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Christopher Wilkins, our Bicentennial Concert will honor and highlight musical figures of the past and present.
Join us in the lobby at 6 pm for our Community Expo featuring Bicentennial sponsors and partner organizations, as we bring all of Akron together in celebration of our 200th Anniversary.
FREE parking is available in Lots 26, 27, 28, and 34 on the University of Akron campus near E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall. If you are outside the marked Event Parking lots, there is a fee to park on campus.
