As we celebrate the history of our city and the region, this is a great time to document our individual histories. The Akron Bicentennial in cooperation with The University of Akron Institute for Life-Span Development and Gerontology will sponsor an 8 week workshop on guided autobiography beginning in late September on Tuesday afternoons, 1 pm at the Highland Square Branch Library. In each session, members of the group will explore a different theme that has been influential in shaping their lives. Sessions will be led by Bicentennial Commissioner, Dr. Harvey Sterns, Director Emeritus of the Institute and Professor Emeritus of Psychology.
